Ioannis Benardos is a furniture designer and maker based in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales. His journey into bespoke woodworking is unique, stemming from his previous careers as a pilot and restaurant owner, and is deeply rooted in a long-standing appreciation for craftsmanship and material. 

Drawing inspiration from the mid-century modern aesthetic, Ioannis blends it with the expressive influence of graffiti and his Greek heritage. As a furniture designer, he focuses on creating pieces that are both refined and personal, where precision meets individuality. 

Through Studio Chrysanthe, he explores furniture as both a functional object and a storytelling medium, producing work that is thoughtful, enduring, and deeply considered.
